26.02.2008 SyncShield renews mobile device management business models |
Capricode, a leader in providing 3rd generation mobile device management (MDM) solutions for business use, introduced SyncShield version 3.2 in Mobile World Congress 2008. SyncShield is flexible, easy-to-install and cost-effective MDM solution that helps businesses manage their rapidly growing fleet of smartphones. It supports all the major mobile device platforms including Symbian and Windows Mobile. SyncShield client core technology is also ready to support the new Linux-based smartphones coming to the market in near future.
Focus on businesses
The MDM market will grow rapidly in 2008, as companies are looking for a cost-effective and secure way to administrate their smartphones. Capricode targets business sector with customer-oriented approach, making SyncShield available as SaaS (software as a service) as well as an in-house solution through its partner network.
SyncShield stands out by being designed for both application service provider (ASP) and managed service provider (MSP) business models. In addition, Capricode partners can also offer SyncShield as an in-house solution for customers who want to keep MDM within their own IT infrastructure.
?We strongly believe that business customers can only be served together with strong and reliable partners having local presence. One of Capricodes main goals for 2008 is to accelerate the building of our international partner network, based on the good experiences from our northern European operations? says Antti Nevalainen, Vice President of Capricode.
Capricode partner Secode grows with SyncShield in Europe
Secode, the leading Digital Security Company in the Nordic region, has successfully offered SyncShield MDM as a managed service for businesses in Finland. Based on the experiences and growth in Finland it is now expanding its MDM services to Scandinavia and the Netherlands. ?Our experiences in the Finnish market have been highly positive and promising and we believe now it is the time to enter the European MDM markets? says Petri Salo from Secode.
SyncShields adaptability to several kinds of MDM service models gives it a unique selling proposition in the market. When taking SyncShield into use, a service provider doesnt have to change its existing customer service processes, but SyncShield can be quickly integrated to them. ?SyncShield was very easy to take into use. In addition, it enables us to serve our new MDM customers immediately, as creating new user accounts takes only a couple of minutes ? this is a competitive advantage for us? states Mr. Salo.
