SyncShield chosen by Efecte for Device Management |
Capricode, the first to provide an OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) DM (Device Management) based Software Management Solution, announced today that Efecte, the leading Finnish provider of IT Data and Service Management software, has selected Capricode’s SyncShield® as the device management platform in its Efecte Distributor?, an advanced delivery solution that enables the distribution of all installation packages in the local network, reports about the success of distribution and helps the management of software configurations.
Delivering and installing software application and updates, typical features also to mobile SyncShield® solutions, are implemented to Efecte Distributor? to enable automatic installations and updates even without user interaction. This enables the use of the solution also when a specific workstation does not have a dedicated user. The SyncShield® is integrated to other Efecte’s software offering with versatile reporting possibilities.
